The NatchPlay agent runs next to your game server and connects it to our relays. It starts with your machine, runs in the background and finds the ports your server listens on.

  • Windows

    Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. It runs as a service. A relay address uses the VPN client built into Windows, so there's no driver to install.

  • Linux

    Any distribution with systemd, x64 or ARM64. It runs as a systemd service and a relay address uses the kernel's own tunnel.

  • macOS

    Apple silicon and Intel. A relay address uses the tunnel macOS has built in.

Setting up

A few minutes the first time. After that it starts with your machine and there's nothing to do.

    Install and sign in

    Run the installer on the PC or box your server runs on and sign in when the agent asks.

  2. 2

    Start your server

    The agent sees which ports it's listening on and offers them. Popular games come set up and admin ports stay private.

  3. 3

    Share your address

    Minecraft players join on the name alone. Everyone else adds the port the agent shows you.
